Ganpati Chaturthi is on the corner and the devotees are really excited and making all arrangements to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. With chants and cheers, they are all set to welcome Ganpati Bappa to their homes on September 2, 2019.

As the festival is just two days away, the initial look of Mumbai’s one of the most popular Sarvajanik Ganapati idols, Lalbaughcha Raja, is here! Like every year this year theme is dedicated to Chandrayaan-2  India’s second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1. developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO), the mission was launched on 22 July 2019. Another high light of the Pandal is a 70 power meter is used to lit it.

Lalbaughcha Raja being one of the most popular pandals in Mumbai, an ocean of devotees can be seen visiting the pandal every year during the eve of Ganesh Festival and the whole place will be lit with prayers and excitement.

The recent Lalbaughcha Raja’s curtain-raiser in Mumbai gotcaptured on the camera and the video was shared on the web.

The devotees on the social media really took it to the next level and the video really went viral. There were many comments in the form of prayers and people also didn’t forget to share and like the videos.

Once the curtain was raised, lovely fragrance started coming out of the stage along with the chants and prayers of the devotees.

The first look of Lalbaughcha Raja had a great animation in its background, and in the background, we can see the universe coming together along with some fire.

The idol of Ganapati will be kept for displaying it to the public and after that, it will be immersed in the Arabian sea near the Girgaum Chowpatty and this process is done on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.

Each and every year, the pious pandal draws over 1.5 million devotees on a daily basis. To get a glimpse of their beloved god, devotees create two lines – a general line and a ‘navas’ line.

Lalbaugcha Raja has got the maximum number of electricity meters—around 70—from BEST in 2019 to brighten up its pandal and the surrounding area.
